BAHMAN PANAHI
1967 yılında İran’da doğdu. Saygın ustalar Gholamhosein Amirkhani, Abdollah, Foradi ve Yadollah Kaboli’nin yönetiminde çalıştı. Müzik ustaları Hushang Zarif, Athaullah Zahed Shirazi ve Mohammad Reza Lot ’den eğitim aldı. Tahran Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu ve eğitimine Ecole Beaux-arts de Valenciennes’in ardından Fransa’da Sorbonne Üniversitesi’nde doktorasına devam etti. Bahman Panahi beş kıtada kaligra sergilerine, festivallere, konferanslara ve müzik konserlerine aktif olarak katıldı. Harvard ve North Eastern, ABD gibi üniversitelere dikkat çeken profesör ve seçkin bir sanatçı olarak davet edildi. Devlet ve özel koleksiyonlarda eserleri bulunmaktadır. Çalışmalarına Paris’te devam etmektedir.
He was born in Iran in 1967. He studied under the direction of the respected masters Gholamhosein Amirkhani, Abdollah, Foradi and Yadollah Kaboli. He took an education from the masters of music; Hushang Zarif, Athaullah Zahed Shirazi and Mohammad Reza Lot . He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University and continued in Ecole Beauxarts de Valenciennes and then at the Sorbonne University in France for the doctorate. Bahman Panahi has actively participated in cal- ligraphic exhibitions, festivals, lectures, and music concerts in ve continents. He has been invited as a visiting profes- sor and Distinguished Artist to noted universities such as Harvard and North Eastern, U.S.A. His works can be found in numerous state and private collections. He continues his works in Paris.
